Amazon Monitron combines vibration and temperature sensors, gateways, and cloud analysis for equipment condition monitoring. AWS closed the service to new customers on October 31, 2024. This page is for understanding existing deployments, not recommending a new signup.
For an existing installation, inventory the sensors, monitored assets, alert owners, and service dependencies. Compare alerts with maintenance findings and record missed or false warnings. Evaluate a replacement against those records, including hardware support and data continuity, rather than assuming a software-only migration.
