Start Small: From Simple Prompts to Building with Agentic AI
About this session
Software teams have learned to work in a self-organized way through agile practices. The next step is building products with AI. Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Developer are now learning how to become truly effective with it. In this talk I share the path from simple prompting to vibe coding, drawn from four decades of riding technology waves. We begin with prompts you can trust and capture in simple playbooks, so a good result becomes something you can repeat and hand to your team, rather than a lucky moment.
From there we step into agentic AI, where you no longer work with a single assistant but with a small team of AI agents. Here the familiar roles come to life in a new way. As a product owner, you use AI to turn an idea into a real product: shaping the vision, breaking it into clear tasks, and refining until something takes form. As a Scrum Master, you use AI to keep the team moving: preparing meetings, surfacing blockers, and giving each agent the direction it needs to plan, build, and check the others' work. And we arrive at vibe coding, where describing what you want in your own words is enough to bring real software to life.
Woven through it all is the inner work that makes the outer work possible: the quiet need to feel fully prepared before we begin, the hesitation to be seen while still learning. These are not signs that you do not belong. They are learned patterns, and patterns can shift.
The tools are ready. The most meaningful move is to begin.
